I am a dichotomy.
Ethnically Korean, I embrace the traditional values of family, religion, morality, and loyalty. The school of thought raised by Confucius is deeply embedded in my cultural upbringing. With that said, I, and the rest of my family, are devoutly Christian who strongly believe in the culture of life. I consider myself to be a Roman Catholic Christian not in full communion with the Church.
Socially, I embody all that is trendy, fast paced, and avant garde. The world of Fashion, Architecture, and popular culture tickles my interest, just as much as ancient Roman and Byzantine history does.
I endorse the power of the written word and the beauty of imagination. However, the finesse and elegance of cinema enthralls me. I believe that film is the ultimate art; the gathering mass of all fine arts.
I enjoy a Winston Cigarette paired with a generous dry martini with a twist. When I feel less sophisticated, I settle for a Ketel Tonic.
